1. Who we are

PayHound is an automated invoice chasing service for freelancers, contractors and small businesses in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy please contact us at ali.moghul01@gmail.com.

2. What information we collect

We collect the following information when you use PayHound:

Your name, business name and email address when you sign up
Invoice details you enter including client names, email addresses and amounts
Payment information processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
Your preferred reply-to email address for invoice reminder responses
Usage data such as when you log in and which features you use

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

Provide the PayHound service — sending automated invoice reminders on your behalf
Process your subscription payment via Stripe
Send you service notifications such as call prompt alerts when a client has not responded
Improve the product based on how it is used
Comply with legal obligations

4. How we send emails on your behalf

PayHound sends invoice reminder emails from reminders@payhound.co.uk on your behalf. These emails include your business name and set your preferred reply-to email address so that any responses from your clients go directly to you. We do not read or access any replies. PayHound uses Resend as its email delivery provider.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider with enterprise-grade security. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate PayHound: Supabase for database storage, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting.

7. Security and bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our signup form from automated abuse. Turnstile operates invisibly and does not display a CAPTCHA to users. By signing up, you agree to Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum, available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to how we process your data

9. Cookies

PayHound uses essential cookies only to keep you logged in to your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of PayHound after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
